PURPOSE: Alterations in mRNA for myelin proteins are reported in animal models of
chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathies (CIPN); however, ultrastructural changes in
aldehyde-fixed and plastic-embedded myelin are not evident by electron microscopy.
