Chronic nutritional deficiencies in folate, choline, methionine, vitamin B-6 and/or vitamin B-
12 can perturb the complex regulatory network that maintains normal one-carbon
metabolism and homocysteine homeostasis. Genetic polymorphisms in these pathways can
