since in this man they were practically identical, eight months after his wound was inflicted,
with those of the other-patients, itis evident that the condition can be more or less
permanent, and may not alter materially with time. As the patients were examined under
different circumstances--two, for instance, were seen on one occasion only, while others
remained uinder constant observation-the completeness of the clinical description varies.
